NOT available for recreational requests (These are re-directed to the Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation, which matches our annual funding and make local spending commitments on our behalf.)
NOT provided for travel or accommodation expenses, sectarian or denominational organizations, individual pursuits, private schools, service clubs, professional/technical associations or organizations using independent professional fund-raising firms
NOT available for agencies that receive funding under umbrella organizations like the United Way of Central Alberta. (Our annual campaign contributes funds for distribution to member agencies.)

Applying for Support
Generally we support non-profit organizations addressing an identified Central Alberta community need that enhances the positive development of education, health/wellness, environment, the arts or strong civic initiatives.

Consider applying for several years' worth of funding for on-going programs — this approach helps you plan ahead rather than requesting each year. Usually we don't make commitments beyond a three-year window.
