NOVA Chemicals is a global company incorporated in Canada, with its registered office and Canadian Operating Center located in Calgary, Alberta. Executive offices are located at our U.S. Operating Center in Moon Township, Pennsylvania - which is just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our European Operating Center is located in Fribourg, Switzerland, and our Asian Operating Center in Shanghai, China.

NOVA Chemicals has been conducting business in Asia for more than 20 years, beginning with our first sales of polyethylene resins into China. In 1994, NOVA Chemicals opened a regional sales office in Singapore and, as our business grew, we added employees in Beijing and Tokyo, and introduced NOVA Chemicals' styrenics products to the region.

In 2005, NOVA Chemicals established an Asian Operating Center in Shanghai, China, which centralized our sales, marketing and technical service activities. This central operating center creates a stronger presence for NOVA Chemicals in China, a strategic market, identified as one of the fastest growing in the world. It also enables us to provide improved support for our customers throughout the region. With the help of our existing sales team and new staff in Shanghai, we plan to continue to expand NOVA Chemicals' business in Asia - focusing particularly on the introduction and growth of our performance products.
