NOVA Chemicals' Board of Directors has formally adopted corporate governance guidelines that affirm NOVA Chemicals' commitment to maintaining a high standard of corporate governance. These standards are encompassed in the Board of Directors Mandate
and the Corporate Governance Committee Mandate.

All directors, officers and employees of NOVA Chemicals must act in accordance
with our Business Conduct Policy, a comprehensive set of expectations, obligations and responsibilities relating to ethical conduct, conflicts of interest and compliance with law.
In addition, we have adopted a Code of Ethics for our Chief Executive Officer and senior financial officers, which establishes additional expectations, obligations and responsibilities for such officers. These policies are available through the links on the left.
