On December 31, 2007, approximately 83 million common shares were outstanding and there were some 10,800 registered shareholders. NOVA Chemicals' common shares are transferable at the Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax offices of CIBC Mellon Trust Company. The common shares are also transferable at The Bank of New York Mellon, Jersey City, New Jersey.
